Dr. Todd purchased Glenwood Veterinary Clinic in 2005 and relocated it to its present location in June 2009. Following the opening of the new state of the art facility the name was changed to Mount Berry Animal Hospital to better reflect its location.

Prior to coming to Rome, Dr. Todd worked as an associate veterinarian from 2001 to 2005 at Conyers Animal Hospital in Conyers Georgia. Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Todd did human medical research in the areas of breast cancer and hypertension. He also taught human physiology at Marshall University School of Nursing and Cellular and Molecular Biology at Marshall University.

In his free time Dr. Todd assists The Sterile Feral rescue group. He also helps with rabies vaccine clinics at the Floyd County Animal Control.

Dr. Todd currently resides in Rome with his wife Donna and 3 cats and 1 dog. His favorite hobby is working with salt water reef fish and coral. He is an avid fan of theater.

Dr. Abby White

Dr. Abby White graduated from Mississippi State University in 2012 after finishing in 7 years with her Bachelors of Science and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She was accepted to the Early Entry Program out of high school and thus was able to enter Vet School after her third year of college.

While at Mississippi State, she met her husband, Dr. Phil Carter. They married in 2012, and in 2013 moved to Rome for Dr. Carter's Family Medicine residency at Floyd Medical Center.

They have 3 children, all with 4 legs. A cat named Colby Cheese, age 6, his younger brother Fred Flintstone, age 2, and their pesky older brother, a rescued pit bull named Theo of unknown age.

Some of Dr. White's hobbies include: cooking, baking, shooting guns and spending time with her husband.
